Our textile manufacturing company specializes in superior stretch fabrics. Entirely designed, developed and made in-house in our Feltre plant, Piave fabrics are renowned for their refined, masterful workmanship, visual appeal, fabulous feel and outstanding technical performance.

From wooden to electronic knitting machines, the thread of our story stretches back through more than a hundred years of interwoven tradition and innovation. It all began in 1908 in Feltre, in the Province of Belluno, North-east Italy. The company was founded under the name “Fabbrica Ricami a Macchina Feltre” and within just a few years it had gained a reputation for manufacturing exceptional stretch fabrics, ribbons, valances, bandages, lace and embroidery.
The machinery at the time was manually operated and it required the utmost dedication and precision from the artisans who processed the fabrics. We have continued to take the same approach ever since, for more than 100 years: although the tools we use have evolved and become increasingly automated, human input and attention to detail have remained our greatest strengths. They are the hallmark of every single Piave fabric.

They start out in Feltre and are shipped all over the world, making us a truly international business.
